Trip Summary
From 3rd October to 8th December 2021 we cycled from Chester UK to Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. Through the UK we mainly followed National Cycle Network Route 45 to reach Portsmouth where we took a ferry to Santander, Spain. Our route across Spain very loosely followed the Camino del Cid route to the Med Coast north of Valencia before heading North along the coast to Barcelona. We then took a ferry to Porto Torres, Sardinia and cycled clockwise around the North and East coasts of the island to reach Cagliari. We then took a ferry to Napoli and flew back to the UK.
