Trip Summary
From May to October 2022 we are cycling from Chester UK to Istanbul, Turkey. Our plan is to cycle to Hull, UK and take a ferry to Rotterdam. From there we will pick our way through the wonderful cycle paths of The Netherlands to join the Eurovelo 15 route down the Rhine valley through Germany then the Eurovelo 6 route along the Danube through Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. From there we will improvise a route across into Turkey and try to find a good way into Istanbul.
